Pete has laid the hedge - Devon style - after a major clearance of cotoneaster, bramble and debris. Some hawthorn abnd beech has been planted to provide food as well as thicken some of the thinner sections. Once it all starts to grow it'll provide much thicker cover for wildlife and sources of food.
